Online Vehicle Registration

The online system is available Monday through Friday, 3am to midnight. After midnight and on weekends, the system is down for routine maintenance.

Permits purchased on-line are mailed out the following business day to the shipping address that you provide.

*Motorcycle permits must be purchased in the Parking Office. They are NOT available on-line.

Q. Is the registration site a secure site?

A. Yes

The information contained on these pages is highly confidential. When you see in the address bar above, the protocol is https://, the "s" means it is a secure transaction.

When you click the link to go to the registration site, you will see the secure protocol!

Also, at the bottom of your browser, in the status bar, you will see a padlock which you can double-click to get the secure certificate details.

We are using an encrypted connection to MSU's Administrative Information Services (AIS) for all transactions on this system. This includes security for credit card transactions with the CyberCash merchant system (if you choose to pay by credit card.)

Cookies are used only as a means to pass information on from one page to the next. The cookies have an expiration and should not remain on your computer after completing the vehicle registration.

 

Q. What are the payment options?

A. Discover, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Online Checking (ACH)

Please note, eligible faculty and staff can choose payroll deduction payment option.

 

Q. Can faculty and staff register for a validator permit?

A. Yes, employees are able to register for a validator permit online as well as primary vehicles. They still will need to go into the parking office to purchase a motorcycle permit, or a replacement permit.
